The Porch Lights are ON for the CREEPY, CRAWLY Blog STOMP!!!

Welcome to Paper Popsicles' second blog hop, our CREEPY, CRAWLY, Blog STOMP! Today, we hope that as you go around to each of our creative team member blogs, you will find inspiration, some tricks, and perhaps some TREATS! If you stumbled upon my blog from Cassie's blog GREAT!!! You are on the right track! If you stumbled upon my blog and wish to play along, please start at the Paper Popsicles' blog.

Our porch lights are now on! As you move from one blog to the next, you will collect a TREAT (a word). Gather all the treats to make a ghoulish saying and email your phrase to Melissa at melissa@paperpopsicles.com. For your efforts, you will be entered into a RAK to win a fantastic prize—The Loud Talker Kit from October!!!!

Please leave a comment on EVERY blog during our stomp....otherwise you might miss out on some other free treats!!!! OH, I almost forgot! Paper Popsicles is screaming with great deals today. 25% off everything in the store and 50% off all clearance! October 10th only. www.paperpopsicles.com/store

And now I want to share with you MY ghoulish surprises!

First up is this cute treat bag! I found this paper mache "box" as it was called on the tag in the Christmas aisle in Hobby Lobby. I used the SUPER fun Fancy Pants Halloween paper from the Paper Popsicles store and some Mod Podge to cover the "box". I then sanded the edges and used a combo of Orange Marmalade and Black Soot Distress Ink to ink the edges. The border across the top is actually the Fancy Pants border sticker also available in the Paper Popsicles store! Next I used this SUPER fun digital ghost image by Cheeky Radish and enlarged him to the size of a piece of 8.5" x 11.5" paper. (With a little turning of the image you can get him this large) I then cut a piece of My Mind's Eye Halloween paper to 8.5" x 12" and printed the ghost directly onto the paper. I cut the ghost out, outlined his mouth and eyes with a black glaze pen, and when the ink was dry lightly sprayed the ghost with Pearl Glimmer Mist to give him a little sparkle. Once the ghost was dried I attached him to the front of the "box" and raised the arms with 2-3 foam squares stacked on top of each other. I added 1 foam square under the tail and curled the end of his tail around a pencil to make it pop off the "box".
Here is a close to see a little of the sparkle
And since Hallowen is one of my favorite holidays I have one more quick and simple project for you today! For this treat bucket I purchased the tin Halloween pail in the dollar section of Target. I used my trusty Zip Dry and added Creative Cafe ric rac to the top and bottom of the pail as well as on the handle. I then used cute digital images from Cheeky Radish for the front embellishments that I colored with Copic markers and attached with pop dots. And there you have it a quick simple pail to fill with some yummy treats and give to your favorite trick or treaters!
I guess you want your other treat too? The treat on my blog is FUN

Not enough treats you say?? Do I hear you begging for some more??? OK I am going to give you ANOTHER FUN treat!! TODAY ONLY you can have this adorable ghost image from Cheeky Radish for FREE!!!! Just right click on him and save the image to your computer, then have FUN creating all kinds of FUN things with the image! edited to add: Guess what??? This little cutie ghost is going remain a freebie!!! YUP! Paper Popsicles and Cheeky Radish have agreed to keep it a FREEBIE!!! BUT you better go check out teh store and go grab up some more of the adorable Cheeky Radish images!! Click here to be taken to the images!
